I managed the National MS Society, Oregon Chapter’s Facebook and Twitter account for 15 months.

Overall, I maintained an organic reach of 5,000 people each week on Facebook. I discovered videos perform better than pictures and the MS community wants to learn about current MS research than event information. I learned to follow the 80 < 20 rule to maximize engagement, posting personal fundraising stories, research, and special events 80% of the time and sharing event information and fundraising deadlines 20% of the time.
